Week 13 Start 'Em / Sit 'Em

You know the routine…so here it goes for week 13:

If you still feel like you are in a pickle, then send I your quandary and your lineup requirements and whether or not it is a PPR league to:  TheKing@FFLKing.com

Buccs @ Panthers:  Jonathan Stewart is probably the safest play in this one.  If Deangelo plays run with him too.  No one else from the Panthers and I am sitting Steve Smith this week in the league I own him.  Freeman is a respectable gamble, that is if you have no other options and if Bryant is healthy I play him as well.  Caddy is also most likely a play depending on the rest of your line up.

Eags @ Falcons:  McNabb is fine to play, I also run with Celek, McCoy, Maclin and Avant.  They should all have solid games.  Norwood starts for me but the rest are pretty risky against the Eagles in this one.  You may be stuck starting Gonzo but look for other options than Roddy.

Texans @ Jaguars:  I run with Schaub and Andre, of course (no brainer here).  I also run with Walter this week.  I am not a big fan of what Chris Brown or Moats is going to do without Slaton playing.  Either way, if he plays or doesn’t… I probably sit Slaton…too risky.  I am sitting him in the league I own him anyway.  I like Garard, MJD and Sims-Walker for the Jags.  If you are hurting at TE, the Lewis is also a decent option.

Rams @ Bears:  S-Jax plays for me and that is it from St. Louis.  The Bears reluctantly play for me this week.  Hester, Forte, Olsen for sure and Cutler (if needed) I can probably stomach this week against the Rams at home.  Knox and Bennet would start if I was in a pickle.

Broncos @ Chiefs:  Moreno starts and so does Marshall.  Orton in a pinch, Charles in a pinch and that would be it outside of Scheffler who I would play if needed.

Saints @ Skins:  Hard to sit any Saint.  Easy to sit the Skins.

Raiders @ Steelers:  If I have a starter from the Steelers they are in the line-up.   Don’t play any Raiders.

Titans @ Colts:  All the starting Colts play.  Without saying Chris Johnson plays.  Britt would intrigue me this week if I had him.  Young only if needed.  The rest of them sit this week.

Lions @ Bengals:  Stafford might start for me if I had a need.  Megatron starts and so does Kevin Smith.  Palmer, Benson, Coles (if healthy), Ochocinco all play this week against the Lions.  In a bind, LJ might play for me in hopes of Benson needing rest.  Why would they burn him up against the Lions?

Chargers @ Browns:  All the Chargers play except Floyd.  No Browns.  Harrison and Jennings present sloppy fill ins if needed to plug someone in.

Boyz @ Giants:  I play Felix again, Barber, Witten and Austin and Romo.  I have doubts about anyone else out there.  For the Giants, I take the risk on Eli, Jacobs, Bradshaw, Manningham and Smith.  That’s it.

Vikings @ Cardinals:  If Warner does not play then Fitz is the only sure thing.  You can’t like anyone else in this one with Leinart at the helm.  All the Vikes starters play.

49’ers @ Hawks:  I lost trust in the Hawks and the 49’ers defense can play well.  Start them at your own risk but I am avoiding them this week.  I run with Alex Smith if I have a need, Davis, Crabtree, Morgan and obviously Gore.

Pats @ Fins:  Not fond of the Pats running game but you are stuck with Maroney if you have him.  Brady, Moss and Welker play.  Ricky Williams is a must play and Bess might be a decent option in PPR leagues.  Other than that be weary.

Ravens @ Packers:  Obviously Ray Rice is a must start and so is Mason.  I run with Flacco this week.  All the starters for the Pack should be in your line up.  James Jones is a decent gamble if you need to take a flier on someone.

As always if you are stuck in a quandary or got issue with your line-up send it in for The King’s take.

Good luck this week!
